Yesterday was my first time volunteering at Mission Community Market. I’ve always spent my spare time volunteering, but this particular act of selflessness was boatloads of fun. Everyone loves the market and chatting folks up about what we do while eating great food isn’t a bad way to spend an afternoon. The people who volunteer for the market (all unpaid) are charming and passionate about the work they do. I can’t wait for next week!
